BBNaija organisers announce N85m grand prize for season 5 winner

Popular reality TV show, BBNaija, is set to bring another few months of entertainment to screens for fans to enjoy – The show organiser, MultiChoice, has revealed the mouth-watering prizes the winner of the show will go home with – The BBNaija season 5 winner will go home with N85m worth of prizes.The BBNaija reality show has become a favourite of many Nigerians over the years as a number of fans made it their business to get acquainted with the lives of the housemates as they selected their favourites. Well, it is no longer news that the season 5 of the reality show is set to keep Nigerians occupied for another few months. The BBNaija season 5 is set to start airing on July 19, 2020 and fans are already gearing up to be part of the drama that ensues as a result of the show.MultiChoice, have revealed the mouth-watering prizes the winner of this year’s edition gets to go home with. MultiChoice revealed that this year’s prize is the highest ever since the show kicked off in 2006. This year, the winner gets to go home with N85m worth of prizes. The season 5 would be much different. BBNaija 2019 star, Mercy Eke, after she was announced as the winner of the reality show.According to MultiChoice, a breakdown of the N85m prize the season 5 winner gets to go home with includes a N30m cash prize, a two-bedroom apartment, an SUV from Innoson Motors, a trip to Dublin, home appliances, a trip to Dubai, a year’s supply of Indomie Noodles, Munch it and Colgate toothpaste, a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller and a trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.The housemates for the BBNaija 2020 show are being quarantined ahead of the reality program. As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, organisers of BBNaija, MultiChoice Nigeria, have taken some necessary precautions in line with the guidelines set by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) for the fifth season of the show. Besides doing things like ensuring the production crew works in (socially distanced) shifts, MultiChoice is putting the potential housemates through a rigorous health screening process. These potential housemates will, in addition to other medical tests, undergo a COVID-19 test before entering Biggie’s house.To further ensure the safety of BBNaija participants, these potential housemates are currently in quarantine ahead of the show’s premiere on Sunday, July 19.
