#Covid19: Founder & CEO of Sosoliso airline dies in London

Victor Ikwuemesi, the Chairman of the defunct Sosoliso Airline, has died few days after he was diagnosed for coronavirus.

Ikwuemesi is said to have died yesterday in a London hospital where he was admitted after brief illness.

He later tested positive for COVID-19 in the result that was released today (Tuesday).

He was in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on oxygen since he arrived the London hospital, but when the oxygen was removed for him to eat he couldn’t breath on his own.

He was then placed on a ventilator and he died shortly after.

Ikwuemesi and Sosoliso are remembered for the fatal crash on December 10, 2005, where 108 people, mostly students of Loyola Jesuit College in Abuja, died while landing at the Port Harcourt airport.
