This year every Christian across the world is celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Easter, this Sunday, April 12.
Normally, Christians would be in churches celebrating but due to the coronavirus lockdown, Christians in Nigerian states observing the lockdown are in their houses.
The Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has shown Nigerians that he is a leader that leads by example by joining the rest of the Christians in lockdown around the world in observing the Easter Sunday service from home.
Sanwo-Olu shared a post on Twitter to show Nigerians how he was celebrating Easter.
He noted that he and his wife worshipped online for the celebration.
In his tweet, the governor said they prayed for their family, Lagos state, and Nigeria. The governor also shared a piece of advice.
According to him, Easter offers people the opportunity to rethink their relationships as individuals, as communities, and as a nation.
