German Police close case on Ekweremadu’s assault, makes no arrest

It’s no longer news that the immediate past Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu was assaulted by a group of men at an occasion which took place in Nuremberg, Germany.

The Nigerian Ambassador to Germany and other Nigerian political office holders have aired their displeasure on the assault calling on the German government to arrest the persons involved.

Freelance Journalist and Emmy Award nominee Ruona J. Meyer reached out to the police in Germany and they confirmed that they won’t be making any arrest.

The German police said it was nothing but a protest against a government official and no arrest was made, they also confirmed to Ruona that the case is already closed.
