The Independent National Electoral Comission has declared that elections held in Sokoto, Bauchi, Adamawa, Plateau, Benue and Kano are inconclusive.
The election in Rivers State was brought to a halt as a result of cases of violence in different areas.
The Peoples Democratic Party PDP has accused the INEC Chairman Mahmoud Yakubu of being partisan stating that candidates of PDP were leading in this States where elections were declared inconclusive.
The publicity secretary of the PDP Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan stated in a press briefing that “The PDP has full intelligence of how INEC is acting on instructions from the Buhari Presidency and the APC in orchestrating unwholesome situations and declaring already concluded governorship elections in Sokoto, Adamawa, Bauchi, Plateau as well as other states as inconclusive, immediately it became obvious that the PDP was set to win.”
The PDP also accused the federal government of aiding the Minister for Transport Rotimi Amaechi in causing havoc in Rivers State with the use of the Army.
